"I see myself as just a normal gal..a human who makes mistakes, a Christian - striving to be who God wants me to be, and in amongst all of that - a musician - who loves to write it, sing it, play it, and give God the glory when it happens!" God first directed my attention toward an actual music ministry when I was 17. I had been to Dawson McAlister's Student Conference and I was on the bus with other youth going for dinner break. Due to all the excitement of the weekend, this was the first time I had been quiet and really let God have my attention. It was in that quiet moment that God began speaking to my heart about music ministry. Although denying this in my mind all through dinner and thinking it absolutely insane that God would want to use me for such and awesome task, I could deny it no longer when the Holy Spirit refused to quit tugging at my heart. That evening at the conference, I surrendered my life to God for full-time music ministry. Things haven't always been easy, but He has never let me down. I learned a lot about God and His purpose that evening, but most importantly that if you are going to call Him Lord, then you must be willing to do what He asks.
